Comparative Analysis of Term Formation in Tajik and Russian Languages ("Navader-ul-Vaghaye" Ahmad Danish)

The article discusses opinions of Russian and Tajik linguists, who have studied the problem of terminology, history of the formation of linguistic areas about terminology and the usage of word "term" and "professionalism". Authors point out that numerous studies dedicated to studying in different languages to terminological systems, which show features and specific aspects inherent in the study of vocabulary that a huge number of terms are formed on the basis of a rethinking about common words. Based on the Tajik-known linguists, authors also point out that the formation and enrichment of the scientific terminology of the Tajik language were influenced by Arabic, which on that time was an international language. The article presents a comparative analysis of terminology units of the well-known works of the great Tajik-Persian scientist, preceptor Ahmad Danish "Navader-ul-vaghaye." Authors analyzed various methods of term formation (industries education, history, astronomy, geography) in Russian and Tajik languages. The study showed that Ahmad Danish in his work, among other common lexicon and terminology which was widely used, consisting of both native Persian words and some borrowed words from Arabic language.
