Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is an important and widely discussed topic in various fields such as medicine, transportation, education, business and the media. The use of AI is constantly expanding as we see the emergence of new phenomena based on this technology. Speech-to-text, self-driving cars, automatic chess playing by the computer, facial recognition technology on mobile phones are all AI-powered and used in everyday life. The purpose of this article is to consider the existing potentials for the use of AI in teaching foreign languages, studying programs developed with the help of AI, and analyzing various literary and scientific articles on the impact of AI on teaching foreign languages. Among the aspects considered in the article are Chatbots, search engines, machine translation systems, speech-to-text conversion, automatic grammar and pronunciation checking, personalized learning and other innovative approaches.
