FORMATION OF COMPETENCES IN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE CLASSES IN PERSIAN-SPEAKING CLASSROOMS

Abstract

The article deals with types of competences, starting from general, universal, key, non-professional and ending with subject-specific, i.e. professional competences. Linguistic (linguistic) competence is the leading competence, which is a complex of linguistic knowledge of the language system, its connection with thinking, culture and social development and the ability to use linguistic knowledge in professional and/or research activities.   The learner should know all the means of the language system: phonetic, lexical, morphological, syntactic, word-formation, phraseological, which will help in communication. Speech competence - the second most important - consists in the ability to use the proposed linguistic means, literary material to build their own statement. Within the framework of speech communication the student should learn to compose dialogue and monologic statements. Communicative competence - the pinnacle of Russian as a foreign language (RFL) education - is considered as the goal and content of learning. Communicative competence includes linguistic, psychological and methodological skills and abilities. Communicative competence is connected with linguo-country competence: knowledge of the geographical position of Russia, its history, role and place in the world, cultural traditions. The article suggests developing this competence using the notes of the XV century Russian traveler Afanasy Nikitin. This material may be of particular interest to the Iranian academic audience. Literary competence assumes the knowledge of Russian literature and folklore in their historical development and current state; the ability to understand literary works and their relationship to the social situation and culture of the epoch; the ability to assess the artistic originality of works and creativity of writers in general from the point of view of not only national culture, but also intercultural significance; the possession of basic methods of literary analysis; the ability to use literary knowledge in professional activities. Pedagogical competence is based on the knowledge of the main problems of the theory and practice of teaching and education, the theory of education, general and private didactics in the history of pedagogical science, modern trends in pedagogical theory and practice.
