The lexical and semantic borrowing is analyzed. The most species are represented: full semantic, secondary (partial semantic), derivational. Lexical borrowings are words with all theirs phono-morphological and semantic characteristics. Semantic borrowing means selection of lexical equivalent in a host language. Derivational skinning is a process by which its derivational structure of foreign language words transmitted by morpheme translation of the Russian roots and affixes. Partial semantic, or secondary, borrowing occurs when there are words in two languages with a matching phono-morphological appearance in comparable close meanings. The technique of differentiation of word-products of semantic transformations and secondary borrowings is proposed. The meaning known in the language is compared with the new meaning in order to determine the presence of semantic transformations based on the development of the main or additional seme, and then with the meaning in the intended source language.</p> ER -
